If you find the regular Nalgene a little too heavy, we have a very good alternative (also just from Nalgene). This Nalgene Ultralight wide mouth 1 liter water bottle weighs 25% lighter than its regular brother. So for the weight of 108 grams, you don’t have to put up with it. The Nalgene Ultralight is slightly less “sturdy” than the regular Nalgene (is a bit more flexible and scratches a bit faster), but no less strong or durable. And, of course, leak proof. Thanks to the large cap, you fill the bottle very easily under the tap.
This bottle fits ideally in an Acepac Fat bottle bag or mounts in an Anything Cage like the Topeak Versacage (super sturdy with 2x 20″ Voile straps) and of course fits a Mojave cage as well
The bottle is made of strong, HDPE BPA-free plastic and features a convenient size indicator. Also, you won’t lose the cap of this bottle easily, as it is attached to the top of the bottle with a loop (you can also reattach it to your bike for security so you never lose it on the road).
