A good pillow is the difference between half a night’s sleep and a full one, and the Aeros Premium is the model where Sea to Summit really went for comfort. The top is a soft, slightly stretchy knit fabric that feels a lot nicer than bare TPU, and underneath sits a layer of foam so you don’t feel like you’re lying on a balloon. The scalloped shape cradles your head and keeps it centred.
You inflate it with the mini XPRESS valve, with a separate side for inflating and a dump button to deflate it in one go in the morning. The fine-tune dial sets the firmness exactly right. Two PillowLock patches on the underside grip onto a Sea to Summit mat, so your pillow doesn’t wander off across the tent.
Inflated it’s 34 x 24 x 11 cm, packed it fits in the included stuff sack, about the size of a fist. 99 grams for the pillow itself, 104 with the bag. Not the lightest pillow out there, but one of the comfiest.
