Evernew – UL Folding Hip Mat S2 – Sit Pad

Always nice to have on hand, the Evernew UL Folding Hip Mat S2. The name suggests it’s also good as an extra layer under a foam mat at your hips, but we mainly use the Folding Mat just to sit on. It keeps your backside dry (even on that damp picnic bench) and a little warm too. You fold this Evernew sit pad in 4 and it packs down nicely (if you want even smaller, there’s also the Evernew UL Compact Folding Mat). The ridged texture makes it comfortable to sit on, and the bumps add a bit of thermal insulation too. You don’t need to leave it home over the weight, this ultralight sit pad is only 30 grams.
