The Alpenblow pump sack from Alpenglow comes with a nozzle for modern valves. With this expansion pack you can also inflate older pads that still have the classic valves. That saves you from blowing up your pad by mouth, which puts moisture in the pad and is no fun after a long day.
Which valves are included?
- Legacy Therm-a-Rest classic valves (the small twist valve)
- Legacy NEMO push-pull valve
- Klymit valve (rotating ball)
Tip for Klymit pads: the Alpenblow works best when you turn the ball halfway between inflate and deflate. When you are done inflating, close the valve from the back of the pad and only then remove the Alpenblow.
