V-shape or needle stakes?
Thin needle stakes are lighter, but they bend in hard ground and pull out of soft ground. V-stakes are the better choice for tents that need to stay put in wind, like trekking pole tents and for campsites with mixed ground. For a one person tent, four to six of these is usually enough.
