Nothing worse than having to inflate your air mattress with your own lungs after a long day ( and because we are all weight concious and we don;t want to bring a big heavy pump sack) The Nitecore AP01 fixes that, it’s the little brother and successor to the AP05C, even lighter and simpler.
This pump weighs just 22 grams and pushes 220 litres per minute, so your pad is ready to go in seconds. Very handy feature, this pump can also deflate, so early morning, it pulls the last air out and you roll your pad up small. With the 5 included adapter nozzles there’s always one that fits your valve, whatever brand of pad you have.
Difference from the old AP05C
The key difference: the AP01 no longer has its own battery. Where the AP05C came with a separate USB-C battery module (around 43 grams together), the AP01 runs straight off USB-C. You plug it into your power bank, phone charger, laptop or car USB and pump as long as it supplies power. That saves weight (22 grams instead of 43) and the hassle of charging an extra thing, but it’s no longer standalone, you always need a USB-C power source.
It comes with a USB-C to USB-C cable and a storage bag. And it’s impact-resistant to a 2 metre drop.
