Peeing outdoors when you’re on the trail, but you don’t want to lug toilet paper around (or leave it behind in nature). That’s what the Kula Cloth was made for. This simple pee cloth is a really practical, washable, ultralight cloth for after you pee. One side is soft and antibacterial (the black side, this is the one you dab with), the other is waterproof (usually the one with the fun prints) so your hands stay clean and dry. Thanks to the handy snap you fold it in half and clip it hygienically to your pack or bag. No faffing with wet wipes or toilet paper in a ziplock, the Kula Cloth is clean, fresh and made for endless use.
Why are Kula Cloth pee cloths so handy?
- Ultralight and takes up almost no room
- Antibacterial and quick-drying
- Waterproof outside, soft absorbent inside
- Easy to wash and reuse over and over
- Snap and loop to hang it discreetly off your bag
Made for hikers and anyone who wants to travel light and sustainably.
How do you use a Kula Cloth?
You pee just as you always do (tip: in nature it’s good practice to pick a spot at least 60 metres from natural water sources, extra tip: if you’re squatting, planting a trekking pole in front of you for stability or leaning against a tree can help).
Use the black, textured side of the Kula Cloth® to dab off that last bit of moisture. The outside, with those great prints, is waterproof, so don’t worry about anything soaking through to your hand. You can keep using the cloth, and rinse or wash it whenever you get the chance. If you’re doing that in nature, use a “responsible” soap or rinse with plenty of water. At home it just goes in the washing machine.
Note: the Kula Cloth® is only meant for after peeing. Don’t use it like toilet paper to wipe front to back, keep the Kula strictly in the “pee zone”. After use it clips easily to your pack or bag with the sturdy, hypoallergenic snap. Want it a bit more discreet? Use the double-snap option so it hangs folded in half off your bag. Important: the Kula Cloth is a toilet-paper replacement for peeing, not a toilet replacement. So don’t pee directly onto the Kula, use it to dab yourself dry after.
