The makers of the Kula Cloth have something new and yes it’s just as cheerful as you would expect from Kula. The Feral Food Cozy is an insulated sleeve for your freeze-dried or dehydrated meal (which could also be some prepped couscous or something nice). Prep your “adventure food”, slip the bag into the cozy, and it holds the heat while your food rehydrates. Big bonus: you can hold it without burning your fingers.
It’s light (approx. 34 grams), packs flat and lasts for years. And it also is pretty handy in case of accidental leaks. Because nobody wants an exploded stroganoff inside their puffy. The outside is 100% cotton in Kula’s signature designs so nothing boring here.
Breakfast tip: oats, dried raisins, little bit of brown sugar in a sturdy freezer zip bag, hot water on top, leave it in the cozy, done.
