Clean the mesh, peel off the backing, press the patch over the tear and you are done. No sewing, no glue and no waiting. The adhesive is the same Tenacious Tape adhesive that GearAid uses for its fabric repairs, so the patch stays on for years, also after packing and unpacking the tent hundreds of times.
How to apply
- Clean the area around the tear with water or an alcohol wipe and let it dry.
- Lay the mesh flat, for example on your sleeping pad.
- Press the patch firmly over the tear, from the centre outwards.
- For bigger tears, use a patch on both sides of the mesh.
