The Trive Ti is a simple titanium crossbar that you place over a small alcohol burner or an Esbit block. Your pot or cup sits on the two bars, at the right height above the flame. It is 1 mm thick, so it lies flat in the bottom of the Evernew Ti 400FD Cup, together with the Evernew titanium alcohol stove. That gives you a complete minimalist cook kit in one small cup.
How it works
Slot the two pieces together into a cross, put it over your burner and place your pot on top. The Trive keeps the pot about 3 cm above the flame, which is the sweet spot for most alcohol stoves. It also works with a solid fuel tablet on a piece of foil.
