Nothing beats a crackling fire when you’re out on an adventure, as long as you can do it safely. The X-Fire is a compact wood stove for cooking that you can easily carry along, thanks to its small packed size and low weight.
The X-Fire wood stoves are designed and fully made in Germany, and give you a sturdy, lightweight way to have a fire outdoors. You can cook on them well too. Each X-Fire is a round, perforated burner with a height-adjustable base inside (handy if you want to put an alcohol stove in it), and two skewers/stakes that create supports for a pot. The standard X-Fire comes with a handy storage bag, the ultralight with a plastic tube.
They run on dry wood, but you can also barbecue with charcoal in them, or drop in an alcohol stove. The design keeps cooking outdoors efficient and easy.
Available in two versions: 14 cm wide and ultralight, or 18 cm wide and standard.
