Vargo BOT XL – Titanium

The big brother of the Bot 700, that’s the Vargo Bot XL – the spacious and completely lockable titanium pan/pot all-rounder. The BOT XL is designed to accommodate a large (227g) isobutane gas canister and because of its extra-wide diameter (115mm) that also leaves room for storing your stovetop and other cooking accessories. An extension of the beloved BOT series, this versatile cooking pot features a waterproof lid that doubles as a cooking lid when turned upside down. Cold soaking, preparing meals, storing camping kitchen gear or packing leftover food is all possible with the BOT XL. The handles turn this titanium beauty into a large cup. The lid screws easily onto the pan due to the coarse thread, at first it may be a bit stiff. With use, this goes more and more smoothly. CAUTION: never cook with the lid screwed on the pot. Note: if you take the Vargo Bot XL to the mountains, it is possible that if you screw the lid on at altitude, it will not open properly as soon as you descend.
