The Frontier Ultralight Collapsible Cup from Sea to Summit is genuinely handy. This collapsible silicone cup is one of my favourites for day trips when you want a separate cup to drink from alongside your pot. The Frontier cup fits inside most pots with a diameter larger than 10.5 cm, and it also works well as a lid on pots with a 9.5 cm diameter.
It folds in and out easily because it’s made from flexible silicone, and the reinforced rings make it stiff enough to grip properly and drink from comfortably. With a capacity of around 355ml it folds completely flat, so it’s easy to carry in the bottom of a bottle bag or tucked in with your pot. The silicone is BPA-free, so no off tastes and nothing harmful.
At just 55 grams the Frontier cup weighs practically nothing.
