Ombraz flipped the design of a sunglass on its head: no arms, just an adjustable cord that runs behind your head. Cinch it tight with the slider and the glasses sit rock solid, whether you’re bombing down a rough trail or hanging upside down. Nothing pressing on your temples, and when you take them off they just hang around your neck instead of getting lost.
The Azzurro is their newest and most complete model, built with a focus on water and bright light, with the best ZEISS optics Ombraz offers. The polarized lenses kill the glare off water and tarmac, block 100% of UV and have a hydrophobic coating so splashes and smudges wipe right off. The frame is near-indestructible Italian TR-90, the cord is 100% recycled fishing nets.
At 25 grams you barely feel them, and they come with a neoprene case with a built-in cleaning cloth. One size (Regular) that fits any head thanks to the cord, XL on request. Like every Ombraz, with a lifetime warranty, and the brand plants 20 mangrove trees per pair sold.
Pick your frame, Tortoise or Charcoal, and your lens. Not sure which lens suits you, drop me a message and I’ll think along.
