An extra guy line, a length of cord to tie to your precious titanium spork, or a lightweight backup string, this strong and light 1mm Dyneema cord does it all.
It has a breaking strength of around 130 kg, plenty for most outdoor uses (we’ve hung off it ourselves and even though it feels nerve-racking, the cord holds fine, though it’s obviously not climbing rope ;-).
The cord knots easily, for example to make an end loop you can quickly thread through a tab on your tent to use as a guy line. It’s UV protected and absorbs practically no water when it gets wet. The bright colour makes the line easy to see.
