Description
Okay, a lot of you are now going to say, do you really need that….no, but how cool is this mini airbed inflating tool: the Alpenglow mini inflator, the very lightest ultralight pump/inflator currently available. This little thing is really sooo ridiculously light and is a pure piece of luxury for the fanatic gram hunter who already has everything. And now just for sale in the Netherlands (and of course also for the rest of Europe, we will gladly send it to Germany, France and every other country in Europe). The Alpenblow weighs just over 8 grams (yaaa, you read it right) and is an ultralight luxury item that you really don’t need, you can also just inflate your airbed with your mouth or with the included bag, but that’s not nearly as cool as with this Alpenblow. This micro inflation system takes about 3 minutes to gently inflate your sleeping pad. That way, when you’re setting up your sleeping pad after a heady day on the bike, you don’t have to blow your lungs out either (with such a nice tingly feeling in your head when you’re a little at altitude). Totally fancy is that you can directly use your USB-C from your phone (so you must have a USB-C connection, most Android and iPhone 15 and up) to let the Alpenblow inflate your mat and no then your phone really isn’t empty. Inflating a typical sleeping mat uses less than 1% of an iPhone’s battery capacity. Of course, you can also just use a power bank (consumption is 0.25% of the capacity of a NiteCore NB10000). Each Alpenblow comes with multiple mouthpieces to support different sleeping pad valves. The Alpenblow is really quite a bit lighter than, for example, the Flextail Zero which, while claiming to be the lightest “inflator,” is certainly not at 40 grams. The Alpenblow does not inflate your mat rock hard, that last bit (1 or 2 breaths) you have to do yourself if you like a harder mat. This little device is meant for sleeping mats and will have trouble inflating kayaks, rafts and oversized mattresses.
