Gerber Dime Multitool

A multi-tool is one of those things that you always want to have with you, especially when you go bikepacking. We tried many and finally settled on the Gerber Dime mini multi-tool. Why? Because of the many functions (12 to be precise) that fit the needs we had while bikepacking and not last but not least, because of the price.
Let’s start with the functions, at the heart of the multi-tool you of course have the pliers (with cutting option). The second important function is of course the knife, which is small, but works well for all kinds of things. And thirdly, a really useful pair of scissors. In addition, the Gerber Dime also has a directly accessible bottle opener, which is not unimportant if you want to treat yourself to something tasty. A nice detail is the tweezers (we only discovered this after a few weeks) that are concealed in one of the handles.
Of course, also missing are a screwdriver (cross-head single and flat), a package cutter (quite handy for everyday use, but useless for bikepacking) and a file (handy for hooks on your nail, not with this multi-tool. Available in sleek black and a black-green version. We have provided a handy eyelet with a piece of Dyneema line with a clip so that you do not lose the tool so easily.
