If you want an ultralight summer quilt for warmer places, the lightest Revelation with a 50°F limit rating is the one. Ridiculously light and ideal for trips to the tropics and other hot spots. The Revelation unzips completely flat so you can use it as a blanket. For Dutch conditions I actually find the 50°F a bit too cold to be useful, which is why I don’t keep it in stock as standard.
The EE Revelation has everything you need to sleep comfortably across a wide range of conditions. It’s a quilt, not a sleeping bag, so it’s designed to be used with a sleeping mat doing the insulating underneath you, between you and the ground. That means there’s no full-length zip and no built-in hood, which saves weight and space.
The temperature ratings on the EE quilts are limit temperatures, so the comfort temperature of this quilt sits around 15°C. Read more here: About our temperature ratings.
I don’t keep this quilt in stock as standard. Once you order it, I still have to order it in, which can take up to 6 weeks before it arrives. Please bear that in mind. If a product shows as “available on backorder”, expect roughly 6 weeks before it arrives at the shop.
