After a chat with Evernew’s product developer, I was amazed at how much attention to detail and ergonomics went into this spoon. The flat, spatula-like tip is carefully shaped to scoop your food up well. It’s not only great for cooking, but also perfect for scraping out the bottom of food bags like rice pouches. The tip is designed to closely follow the curve of a pot’s base, almost pure art in the form of a piece of titanium. The lightly polished surface gives a really pleasant mouth feel, and makes the spoon easy to clean too.
All in all, the Evernew SputuraTi is, for us, the ideal long-handled spoon, a lovely piece of Japanese design and craftsmanship.
