Alongside the Vesuv windshields for the TOAKS, Evernew and MSR pots, there’s now a more versatile, universal windshield. This titanium shield works with any pot up to 117 mm diameter. An aluminium pot stand is included to support your pot and hold the burner (the Vesuv Hotspot 40 alcohol burner fits in perfectly, sold separately).
Besides stability and supporting the pot, the stand also helps keep an optimal gap between the burner and the base of the pot. The titanium windshield guides the burner’s heat neatly along the pot so the contents warm up faster. The Universal Ti windshield fits inside pots 90 mm tall and 70 mm in diameter or larger, and of course you can just carry it loose with other pot sizes. With its integrated pot support it makes for stable, efficient cooking.
