The Reactor Thermolite Liner is a sheet bag or so-called “liner” from Sea To Summit. The manufacturer indicates that with this liner you gain up to 8 ° C extra in heat, we find that measured very optimistically, but a few degrees it certainly saves! So it is a very good addition to cold temperatures. The thermoliter fabric with special fibers of this sheet bag insulate very well and keep you warm. The mummy design makes for a nice closed unit and that you can even use the drawstring to put the warm head covering on. Furthermore, this mummy sheet bag is stretchy and very comfortable. The Sea To Summit Reactor Thermolite Liner comes with a small Ultra-Sil nylon stuff sack. The weight of the liner is about 248 grams and the length is 210 cm long (we find the size regular a bit confusing, for persons up to 1.85 fine in any case).

We are often asked if we ourselves use a sheet bag with our quilts. I personally usually don’t, but there are certainly circumstances where you would. Especially when it’s a bit colder, a liner can add some extra comfort (and degrees). And of course for the life of your quilt or sleeping bag, it’s definitely a contributing factor as well.

Maintenance:
The liner is very easy to maintain; you wash it in the washing machine with regular detergent (no fabric softeners). And preferably not in dryer, but just hang it on the line, that way the sheet bag stays in the best possible condition.
