A real all-rounder, that is the Whisperlite Universal burner from MSR. This burner can burn either gas or petrol (or a derivative thereof). Although the Whisperlite is slightly larger and heavier than, for example, a PocketRocket, this is the reliable burner for the Bikepacker who wants to be assured of fuel everywhere, winter Fatbike races, bikepacking tours where you really want to cook something and not just heat it up.
The hybrid WhisperLite Universal offers the convenience and simmering capabilities of a gas burner and easily switches to liquid fuels for longer trips, cold weather and international use. The AirControl™ technology makes this burner truly unique and delivers excellent performance with all compatible fuels. It is also the lightest stove in its class (in terms of output and size), with excellent stability and easy maintenance, making it the best stove you can ever take on your adventure.
MSR Whisperlite Universal features
