The Evernew spirit burner is the Japanese version of the famous Trangia stove (but just a bit more advanced). Made of super light and strong titanium. This alcohol stove is really super effective, the flames come not only from the top edge, but also from the side edge when properly “primed”. This makes your water boil really nice and fast (for a spirit burner). With the right conditions, you boil 400 ml of water with about 35 ml of spirit in just 5 minutes. The handy size dashes give you an idea of how much spirit you put in.
The inside of this burner is filled with carbon felt that ensures proper evaporation of the spirit and optimal combustion.
The nice thing about cooking on alcohol is that it is nice and silent (in comparison to a gas stove) Alcohol (or bioethanol) is available almost everywhere (just don’t buy the blue bottle if you can find something else, they always leave a bit of a blue stain).
