NiteCore NU21 headlamp – ultralight

Completely new is this little brother of the well-known NU25, the Nitecore NU21. This minimalist USB-rechargeable headlamp does exactly what you want, with a ridiculously low weight. A rechargeable battery (via USB-C) of 500mA, delivers an output of 360 lumens at full power. The NU21 has 2 LEDs, a white and a red one.

The Nitecore NU21 is an ideal companion for the bikepacker (and any other outdoor athlete) who wants a compact lightweight lamp with him or her on her or his adventures. Ideal for setting up your tent, reading (with the red light) or other things where you just need some light. A nice detail is the glow in the dark and reflection details on the elastic. And this headlamp is available in 3 colours: black, white and yellow

3 modes for every task
The NITECORE NU21 headlamp has 4 light modes (High / Mid / Low and ultra-low). The High mode has a maximum output of 360lm and a range of 58 meters and lasts for 2 hours at this full brightness. In the mid setting you have a reach of approximately 39 meters with 170lm and a duration of 3.5 hours, in the low setting you have 60lm and 8 hours of burning time. And last but not least, the Nitecore NU25 is also equipped with a red LED, which we find ideal for reading and maintaining night vision or not being so noticeable. There are even three special modes (red warning light/SOS/beacon) for emergencies and signaling!

Easy operation with two switches
The double switch on top of the headlight controls the type of light and intensity. The Nitecore NU21 also has a handy lock position to prevent you from accidentally pressing buttons when you store the lamp in your frame bag or fuel bag (happens to the best of us, we know from experience).

NU21 Built-in battery and charger
The Nitecore NU21 flashlight comes with a built-in 500 mAh Li-ion battery that lasts up to 37 hours on the lowest setting. Charging the NU21 is very easy thanks to the built-in USB-C charging port. The handy battery indicator shows how much battery you have left, so you’ll never be left with an empty battery again. If you are looking for slightly more lumens or a longer burning time, then the NiteCore NU25 also an option
